Dallas, TX – February 6, 2024 – Today, VICTORY Codeworks began work to submit its upcoming MedsManager™ software as a solution in the MIT SOLVE® 2024 Global Health Equity Challenge.
Tony Farrell, Principal at VICTORY Codeworks, stated "MedsManager promotes better patient outcomes through regimen adherence and helps avoid hospitalization due to adherence failures. Keeping patients on course and out of the hospital promotes capacity and resilience of health systems by keeping hospital beds open and reducing consumption of single-use healthcare products. Efficient and timely orders for medications and other health consumables similarly optimizes supply chain demands."
Regimen Adherence and Health Literacy
MedsManager is a software solution designed with mature and senior adults in mind -- groups for whom regimen nonadherence is increasing or significant. It is intended for use by mature adults and caregivers with the goals of providing real-time projections of health consumables for themselves or the people they support, and for promoting health literacy by tying in public health data specific to personal medication regimens.
MedsManager was also designed for use in multiple languages, which is especially important and meant to remove the English language barrier and offer tools non-English speaking Americans can use to better understand and adhere to their prescribed medication therapies.
